This is the first song ever performed on this brand new soon-to-be famous stage… at the VIP pre-grand opening party at the Wild Wing Cafe in Franklin, TN. This venue hosts a ‘House of Blues’ vibe, but with insanely delicious wings. There are 35 Wild Wing locations throughout the US, and I may be touring every location. Where should I start?
Joined by the very beautiful and talented Amber Caparas, we decided to approach this 3 hour session with simple acoustics. With nothing more than a keyboard, guitar, and conga set, Amber and I christened the new stage with a blend of throwbacks, contemporary covers, and brand new originals from my newly released EP ‘From Where I Stand.’ Here’s just a peek at the first song Amber and I performed together, with a following clip of the ceremonial signing of the over-sized wall guitar that will inevitably be signed by all future artists from that stage. What an honor and blessing it was to be the first vocalist to sing at a venue where so many great artists will be performing.
